Steps to joining Ryle XC

To Do's:

  • Sign up to receive email updates. Even returning athletes need to complete the form. Email addresses collected from this form will be used to distribute updates and important information
  • Main Office: Turn in required forms (Athletics Handbook, Physicals, St. Elizabeth Authorization Form, Drug/alcohol/tobacco form). Please bring a copy of physical for each sport you may play +1 for front office.
  •  Weekly Eligibility- students must maintain at minimum a 70% cumulative average of all classes. Furthermore, on a weekly basis, a student shall be passing (cumulatively for the credit period) at least five hours of instruction. Two failing grades would immediately make the student ineligible regardless of cumulative average (Student Handbook)

Practice Log

Recovery is essential to improvement

I've always said "the key to fast running is a slow jog". Active recovery incorporates managed movement to enhance and accelerate recovery. Train 21 day cycles with one day off (except for MS).

Keep accurate records

Proper training is scientific and data driven. It's okay that you estimate and improve as you grow in the program.

Reflect and Respond

Look over your data, reflect on the week, and communicate with your coaches. Performance is a symptom of your training.
